Although most employers require First Aid and CPR training, PSA provides BLS courses for those interested in a higher level of medical training. BLS is a course designed for those who want to be able to provide “First Responder” level care, rather than CPR and First Aid skills that are taught to laypeople. Both are equally effective, but Security Officer are encouraged to attend the BLS Course. Some employers require BLS over CPR and First Aid, and medical professionals, including Emergency Medical Technician and Emergency Medical Responders, are required to maintain a valid BLS Card issued by American Heart Association. Our BLS Instructors are experienced EMTs and Military Combat Medics. We have enough equipment and instructors to accommodate every student with a unique hands-on learning experience that prepares you to treat people in the real world.
